Rick Hayhurst

Rick is an adaptable full stack developer. He has experience working with multiple technologies and programming languages. His interests within web development include API integration, Open source technologies and data gathering/analysis. He is generally a laid back individual, but able to step things up a gear; working well when placed under pressure. Rick undertook a placement job within the University of Huddersfield Web Team. Over the course of the year, he had the opportunity to learn about emerging technologies, as well as industry standards necessary for modern developers to become successful. He also possesses freelance experience, having previously worked with small businesses to create bespoke websites based on the user’s requirements. Rick is a very competitive individual, which is demonstrated by his interest in football and competitive gaming; he doesn’t like the notion of being bad at something.
